Hate Fighters in Action

From 03 until 10th of March 2019 volunteers from Youth Center ‘’Perspektiva’’ attended the first training of “Hate Fighters in Action” project which was organized in Nis, Serbia.

“Hate Fighters in Action” is a project which is supported by Erasmus + program, Capacity Building in The Field of Youth Action. Hate Fighters Network will organize set of activities for young people in Partner countries with the aim to strengthen the role of young people in peace-building activities and combat against Hate Speech through artistic ways (Video, Music, Photography, and Graphic Design). Throughout the whole duration of the projects, we will organize several workshops in Albania, in order to disseminate the knowledge and outcomes of the project.

The project will not only support the promotion of human rights and democratic values, but also build capacities of young people (youth workers, young activists, students of law, volunteers) to advocate for human rights and reconciliation.

After attending the Training Course from 03 – 10 March 2019, participants from Perspektiva Team organized 1 National Info Day and 20 workshops per creative method. National Info days will promote the program and invite young people from the local communities to join creative workshops. The workshops will have educational part where first participants will learn more about hate speech online and then work through a particular method (graphics, photo, music, video).

They will create new creative tools, which will be later used in the awareness campaign (at least 20 graphics, 20 concept photos, 1 song and 5 videos per country).

Participants during workshops developed several ideas for photos, videos, designs and music. With the support of Perspektiva team those ideas were put in action and developed professionally. Below you may find some of the concepts developed by the team. Perspektiva would like to thank all participants of workshops and partners who made possible the development of the tools with their support and creativity.

Hate Fighters Network implements this project in cooperation with Youth Center “Perspektiva” from Durres – Albania, Red Cross Novo Sarajevo” from Sarajevo – Bosnia and Herzegovina, “Art Republic Prague” from Prague – Czech Republic, “Hellenic Youth Participation” from Athens – Greece, “International Development Alliance Network” from Sofia – Bulgaria, “Beyond Borders” from Corato – Italy, “Council for prevention of juvenile delinquency” from Kavadarci – Macedonia, KOM 018 from Nis – Serbia and Faculty of Law Nis from Nis – Serbia. Project is implemented from 01.12.2018 till 31.03.2020 and is co-financed by Erasmus+ program of the EU.
