Youth Centre Perspektiva is a community of experienced and devoted activists, who have been involved before in various youth projects in Albania and at the international level. This year we decided to unite our efforts and founded the first International Youth Centre in Durres – at the moment we are just doing the first steps and we are sure that much more is coming!
No Hate Speech Movement Albania
In Albania Youth Centre Perspektiva is one of the founders and supporters of the Albanian “No Hate Speech Movement” – “Jo Urrejtjes”. No Hate Speech Movement is an international Youth Campaign by and for young people, organized in 2012 by the Youth Department of the Council of Europe. Its main objectives are to raise the awareness about hate speech online and offline among young people and to reduce the level of acceptance of hate speech. Today No Hate Speech Campaign has 40 National Committees and we are proud to say that we are running the one in Albania!
Durres: Seminars on Youth Participation in Universities & Colleges
We are very motivated to establish links with the students community – we are sure that together we can achieve so much more! In February 2015 we have series of seminars about the opportunities for youth participation in the socially valuable projects in Albania and, particularly, in Durres. These seminars will be held in the universities, colleges and secondary schools in Durres – and very soon we will publish their timetable.
